AC Milan signs Serbian striker, Luka Jović
Talented young forward joins the Rossoneri
AC Milan has announced the signing of Serbian striker Luka Jović from Real Madrid. The 26-year-old arrives on a season-long loan deal, with an option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
A proven goalscorer
Jović is a highly-rated striker who has scored goals at every level he has played at. He burst onto the scene with Red Star Belgrade, scoring 28 goals in 48 appearances. He then moved to Eintracht Frankfurt, where he scored 27 goals in 51 appearances and helped the club win the DFB-Pokal in 2018.
In 2019, Jović joined Real Madrid for a fee of €60 million. However, he struggled to live up to expectations at the Bernabéu, scoring just 3 goals in 51 appearances.
Jović will be hoping to reignite his career at AC Milan. The Rossoneri are in need of a new striker, following the departure of Zlatan Ibrahimović.
